Presentations

The Presentations library lists every file you have uploaded. From here you can upload new presentations, track processing status, and open individual presentation detail pages.

Using the Presentations library

How to upload a new presentation, read the card grid, understand processing states, and interpret the animated semantic status badges on each card. Covers the dedicated generating card shown for all in-progress states, thumbnail generation, card information layout, navigation to individual presentation detail pages, and the sidebar Credits card.

Presentations library

The Presentations page shows every file you have uploaded as a card grid.

Uploading a new presentation

Click the New Presentation tile at the end of the grid (a dashed card with a plus icon) to open the upload dialog, then drag-and-drop or select a PPTX or PDF file.

Presentation card states

Every item in the grid is in one of two visual states:

Generating card — shown whenever work is still in progress. This covers two situations that look identical to you:

  • Right after you upload a file, while the system reads and analyses the slides.
  • While a Handyout is being built from an already-processed presentation.

In both cases the card displays an animated placeholder rather than a thumbnail or summary, and it indicates that processing is underway. The card refreshes automatically when work completes — no page reload needed.

Ready card — shown once processing is complete. Click anywhere on the card to open the Presentation detail page for that item.

What a ready card shows

  • Thumbnail — the first-slide image, filled in once processing is complete.
  • Animated status badge — overlaid on the top-right corner of the thumbnail. The badge uses semantic colour: green for Published, red for Expired, and neutral for Draft. The badge animates when the status transitions (for example, when you publish a Handyout and the badge switches from Draft to Published).
  • Title — derived from the filename or your Handyout title.
  • AI-generated summary — a brief description of the deck content.
  • Slide count and expiry countdown — shown at the bottom of the card.

Sidebar

The right-hand sidebar contains a Credits card showing your current credit balance with a link to the Billing page to top up.

Setup progress bar on the Presentations page

Covers the setup progress bar in the Presentations page header and the dashed New Presentation tile at the end of the grid that opens the upload dialog.

Presentations page — setup progress bar

Setup progress bar

The top-right corner of the Presentations page header shows the Setup Progress Bar — the same indicator visible on the Dashboard home page. It tracks your overall onboarding progress across the entire dashboard and disappears once all milestones are completed.

New Presentation tile

To upload a new presentation, use the dashed New Presentation tile at the end of the presentation grid. Clicking it opens the upload dialog where you can drop or select a PPTX or PDF file.
